About Me

Born and bred in Edinburgh, I’ve spent a lifetime dodging seagulls, queuing behind tourists on the Royal Mile, and secretly loving every cobbled corner of this majestic city.

This site is my way of showcasing some of Edinburgh’s hidden gems to headline attractions, from favourite eateries to the kind of places locals pretend they don’t like (but secretly do). Whether you're here to explore, eat, or escape the rain, you’ll find guides, tips, and mildly sarcastic commentary to make your visit a little tastier and a lot more memorable.

It’s still a work in progress — like the castle’s renovations or understanding the bus routes after 8 pm — but the heart’s in the right place. Just like Arthur’s Seat: a bit random, slightly steep, but worth the climb.
